Hi, I’m Sarah - originally from the UK, now happily settled in Sydney with my partner and our Golden Retriever, Walter.

My journey with pottery began during a date night in Sydney’s second COVID lockdown. What started as a fun escape quickly became something deeper - not just a love for the craft, but a way to feel grounded and connected. Over time, I began carving out space for ceramics alongside my day job, and eventually, Abel Ceramics was born.

At Abel Ceramics, I create thoughtful, functional pieces designed to bring beauty and joy to everyday rituals - whether it’s the mug you reach for each morning, a heartfelt gift, or something truly one of a kind. My work is inspired by slow living, quiet details, and the feeling of something made by hand - with care, creativity, and intention in every piece.
