Hi, I'm Sarah - originally from the UK, I now call Sydney home, where I live with my Golden Retriever, Walter, and my partner.

My journey with pottery began during a date night in Sydney’s second COVID lockdown. What started as a fun idea quickly turned into an obsession - not just with the craft itself but with the way it grounded me. About a year ago, I swapped spreadsheets for clay, leaving behind my career as a payroll manager to start Abel Ceramics.

At Abel Ceramics, I combine my love for creativity and animals to craft bespoke, handmade pottery that sparks joy in the everyday. Specialising in personalised pieces for pet owners and their companions, I create everything from custom dog bowls to perfectly sized mugs to enjoy your favourite beverage from and festive ornaments. 

My mission is to celebrate the unique bond between humans and their dogs, crafting beautiful, functional pieces that bring warmth and happiness into their lives.
